Photography: Mad March Hare

So, I was out gift shopping for my boyfriend's birthday and I came across this set up at The Bay. I think the designer totally got this idea from that two part series spin off of Alice in wonderland called Alice. It was an interesting show but it was lacking in many areas, pretty low budget, but had they expanded it I think I would have loved it. Anyways the Mad March Hare character in there was a psychotic android with a white porcelain rabbit head EXACTLY like the ones in this pic teehee. I wonder if I can buy one off The Bay when they're done with them. I'm sure I can do it if I find the right person to ask. Like the Cleaning guy or something hehehe.

I love the trippy effects of the cloud background layered with what's reflected in the display window, the clocks and the checkerboard tile reflection. But I'm totally not impressed with the fact that you can see my reflection taking the pic in the rabbit with darker clothes, lose :(. I'll go back this weekend and take a better shot :)

R.I.P. 瀬場 潤「Nujabes」

It's been a sad day. We have lost 瀬場 潤 (Seba Jun), better known as Nujabes, a world famous Japanese Hip Hop Producer. If you're an anime fan you'll probably know his work on the Series Samurai Champloo (one of my favs). This was the post found on his Hydeout Productions Website:

"On February 26, 2010, Jun Seba was involved in a traffic accident upon exiting the Shuto Expressway late at night. He died at a hospital in Shibuya Ward after failed efforts to revive him. He was 36 years old. There was a private burial with only family in attendance. Hydeout Productions has stated that Nujabes has left behind tracks, which they plan to release in the near future."

Shit man, It feels like it was only yesterday that I was playin his tunes to mend a broken heart, and it feels like only a moment ago I was expressing my love through them. I'm always listening to him! He was like a friend that I was always kicking it with someone to share the good and bad time with.

There's just this beautiful flow in his his music, a very humble Japanese flavor (and I'm not refering to that J-pop rubbish) I mean the real deep, down to earth humble, earthy, n warm Japanese feel, get my drift? Here just look at this album cover. I think the visuals will sum up this feeling I'm trying to get at.
瀬場 潤, Nujabes, you will be missed and your music will forever be carried on deep in my heart ♥. Keep pushin them beats for the angels above.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend

After months of stressing over my portfolio for my readmission into Art School (I took a couple years off after my first 2 years there) I've decided to treat myself to a pair of uber smexy Irregular Choice Diamontina boots from Karmaloop ^___^ I've waited god knows how long for these babies to go on sale!

Sensu: Listen Little Rabbit

This is what happens when I have a need for wall decoration at home! This is my first attempt at making a Sensu styled fan (the ones that fold open and close) I'm very satisfied with the final result ^_^. I'm looking into silk screening for possible mass production and sales in the future hehe.

Here are some process shots:
